Coffee and Websites

Ahh. There's obviously a reason why writers congregate in coffee shops. The atmosphere is quiet, the coffee scent permeates the air, there's a certain level of camaraderie with the people sitting at the round little tables around you. Then there's the caffeinated coffee to drink, hot or cold, sugar or fat free, however you like it. Currently, I'm discovering the wonders of the iced frappuccino that this nice guy at Roasters gave to me for free. I've never tried one before, being more of a cappuccino or mocha drinking girl, but I like it.

However, I don't really intend to write today about coffee (as wonderful as it is). One very important thing that's happened to me this week is I got my own website. Yay! The address is http://summergbaker.vpweb.com/. I've been working on it like crazy, because I'm going to use it in an audio/video presentation this Friday in my PRO class. But I'm learning that getting a website up and running takes a lot of work and time. I'm also having trouble with creative ideas. I've only got three pages, Home, About Me, and Contact, but I can make two more. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!

  1. Nice start on a website and it is good to know you are really focused on consumer satisfaction, but it would be useful to know what the company does. >>>smile<<<
